Hey everyone: Very nice site you got here. I am currrently working on a 1950 Chrysler Windsor....I picked the car up a couple months ago and have been working on cleaning all the tar and **** off the front suspension and inner fenders (nasty job). The goal for this winter is to get the car roadworthy (shouldn't take much), get the undercarrage clean and painted, get rid of all the rust spots on the body and if it has a coat of primer on it in the spring I'll be a happy guy. looking forward to everyones input. Jim
Welcome Jim. I'm a newbie as well. Haven't posted much but reading a LOT! Some amazing stuff on this board. Hey 27kid, I'm about 20 minutes East of you, Hwy#6 and #97. B
I haven't got any good pics of the car yet, I got it home, got it running, drove it over to my sons house and back (I like the car already), backed it in the garage and proceded to take the front suspension out to clean off all the tar and road ****. So far both inner fenders, frame in the wheelwell and suspension has been painted and re***embled with the cut coils. I will be starting on the brakes next week hopefully. After I get it back together I will take some good pics and post them here. Jim
