I joined the H.A.M.B. about four months ago and just got around to posting my intro. I found the site while searching the web for information on the old South Glens Falls Dragway in upstate New York. Thanks to "Bucksnort" I've found a tremendous amount of history on the dragway. I love to look at pictures of 60's drag cars and dragways, so if you have a site to recommend please let me know. I am looking for a 1966 Chevelle SS. Thanks Bono4783.
Welcome Glad you joined.Good threads on here for drag racing. Drag cars in motion... Lost drag strips.. Search out drag racing for hours of viewing fun. HAMB is dedicated to 1964 and earlier but with the drags we can go to '68 without stirring the pot. PS: no luck on your bros Chevelle pic. If you get up this way I will give you a garage tour.
Welcome to the HAMB from a displaced Schenectady native (corner of Union St. & Gillespie St.) who's lived in Tennessee for the last 33 years. I left Schenectady in 1958 and haven't visited in a l-o-o-o-ng time.
Welcome aboard! Nice to see more local people joining. We should plan a local family friendly meet and greet!
Welcome to the hamb. I used to live off State Street. Do you know anyone from Electric City Timers? or Eggs, Coffee and Toast as some called them. My folks had a place on Maraville Lake. Built my 33 3 window there. Sold it to an old friend in East Berne by Tompson Lake in 1979 just before I left. Good Times. Gordon
