Another Mainer! Welcome! I'm always glad to find other car nuts who know what it's like to brave the weather up here and settle for old tin thats held snugly together with rust instead of bolts.
I just closed on a house in Hudson, about 15 minutes northeast of Bangor where I will have my first garage that I can call my own. Maybe we can all get together and go scrapyard diving sometime. I just went to Brown's auto salvage in Gardiner this past Friday. They have to clear out their back field before the end of the year, and despite what the guy on the phone said, there was PLENTY of decent stuff from the 40's through 50's here and there.

I'm in Eliot, at the very southern tip of Maine. ( more like a suburb of Boston as of the last 10 years or so. I joke and tell people I'm moving to Maine someday. I ride old bike also so I would love to get togather with other Mainers and see what out there.
