Hello all. My name is Chris. Been into hot rods/kustoms for quite a few years now & I finally was able to scrap together enough money to get my first car. It's a 1953 Ford Crestline Victoria two door hardtop. Custom headlight bezels, 1954 Chevy grill, 1953 Olds tailights with custom antennas. Motor is 351 Cleveland with over size radiator, C6 transmission with 8.8 Granada 3.00 gears for crusin, with 15" tires. Interior is Red/White leather with new carpet and headliner. Wiring has been upgraded using Easy Wire, one wire alternater new gauges with using original speedomiter. The previous owner did all this work but there is still some upgrades to be done that I will handle myself. Nothing to major, hood doesn't close quite right, driver door doesn't line up exactly. the wiring is upgraded but nothing has been connected. Fuel pump needs to be upgrade. Column needs to have a new one put in. And a few other minor things. I don't have a ton of experience working on cars so I wanted something that was pretty far along that I could enjoy driving right away yet still have some projects I could work. Who knows maybe some day I'll pull the engine & do some upgrades there. Anyway I look forward to being part of the community & picking up some tips from the more seasoned folks on here. -Chris.
