Hi there. My name is Lou Calasibetta from Stillwater, NJ. Some of you here may already know or have met me, but for those who dont, here's a little background.... I grew up in Montclair New Jersey, and drove a 55 Chevy to college in Kansas in the 60's. It's funny, now I go back to Kansas every year for the KKOA Leadslead Spectacular. After settling in Stillwater, NJ many years ago, I opened The Old Stillwater Garage, where we build Traditional Rods and Customs, and perform Restorations. A lot of you have probably seen our restoration of the Alexander Brothers' Golden Indian Pontiac. Pontiacs are my first love, but Chopped Merc's are close behind. I also have a traditional style Deuce. If you see me on here, or at many of the shows I attend each year, feel free to say hi! Lou
You bought a blue 58 2 dr sedan from a guy in Union NJ? He also had a convertible you bought? I wanted that car forever as a kid, would always walk up to it in high school (it was in a field that is now Commerce Bank...go figure) Always wondered what happened to that car...such a cool ride. Now me? Well, Im into 49-51 Mercs, but that Poncho was cool! Well, welcome! And lemme know what ever happened to that thing.
