Hello from Texas

Hello everyone,

I love old cars. My previous cars were a 1969 Buick Wildcat Convertible and a 1971 Buick Riviera. I've always been a D.I.Y. and now I have jumped in feet first. I want a hot rod. I just bought a pretty rough 1951 Buick Special Deluxe 2dr. The body and frame are solid, but the floors are rotted. I want to be able to revive the straight eight (it does turn after sitting for 28 years) and learn a little in the process. Then I might even try to rebuild the Dynaflow. Eventually I will get a keeper and do everything on it. For now, I just want to revive an old 1951 S8 to hear it run.
