Hello my name is Tom an Just picked up a 53 Chevy. It's a 4 door so suicides are probably in the near future for this soon to be Custom. Haven't yet decided as to how far this car will take me as it is 100% original and in great shape minus the exterior surface rust and some dust. I am open to suggestions as to where to get started. This will be my 1st rebuild on my own. In high school i built a 64 Galaxie 500 but mostly was cosmetic and minor mechanical. So, here I am the Newbie lookin for some great advise and some great new friends. Thank you RetroHarley, I have a bike myself, I ride a 97 RoadKing, it's a injected bike but, I have put 16" Apes, a power commander, stage II kit and a set of true dual Fish Tails on it. Next is some Flat black paint and Spokes!. . But, right now my 53' needs work 1st.. So much to do so little time..
