Hello everyone, I've been reading these message boards for a while now and finally decided to join. Im finishing a tour of duty overseas soon so I'll be able to get back to my projects. Looking forward to helping others and listening to your advice. Im into 59 Chevys, Older VWs, and Traditional Hot Rods.... Wait a minute, who am I kidding, this stuff is a sickness. I love it all and wish I could have one of each. Thank you all and look forward to building together.
Welcome to the HAMB. Now for the advice. Read the rules about posting and never challenge an old head as some of them actually know what they talk about. After a while you will know who. The number of posts seems to be very important to some but I think that quality posts are better than the volume. You will see some with 4,000 or so posts that come in and say something like "wow I never knew that" or some such without adding any input to the thread. That one is only surfing for a higher post count. Don't do that. If you send 10 Quality posts that makes you better than someone who sent 3,000 "Wowser"posts. Help to spread your knowledge and glean information from all.
