Hello! My name is Oliver Hendrix, most people call me Ollie. I have bee lurking on the HAMB for several years, just now making myself know. I am from Huntsville, Alabama. I have been working on a 1941 Willys coupe for a couple of years. Plastic, I am afraid. When I was younger, I was exposed to a 41 Willys that a local hotrodder (in my hometown of Grenada, MS) raced on back roads. I told myself that I would have one someday. It's forty years later and I am doing what I can to fulfill that dream. I know that steel is real but fiberglass is what I can afford. That does not mean that I like the smooth as a bowling ball look of "modern" street rods. My coupe will have exterior door handles, rear bumber, tag mount and lights like a stocker.
Welcome aboard from a fellow homeboy. Glad to see another 'astronut' on here. There are several of nearby hambers in the area.
welcome from another rocket city resident on the corner of martain luther king road and kelley cem rd.
Welcome Oliver from the west coast of Florida. Sounds like you have been busy building the 41 Fat fender cars have always been a favorite mine over the years. Jimbo
