I have been long time stalker or the H.A.M.B. I have built and rebuilt many vehicles that qualify by the guidelines, but my current project does not. It is however a '47 that is being converted to - what my wife terms - a Euro rod. I have a love affair with all kinds of vehicles. I tend to buy what I want, and build them the same way. The '47 is a derelict my FIL (91 this year) bought as young man; and stored it away in the mid 70's. I do not know that I will finish before he does, but (for him & me) it's more about the journey than the destination. So, while the car doe not qualify, the processes are all the same. Rust is rust, and welds do not know what they hold together. I have found that a sbc and Ford 9" will mount in anything - given the right inspiration, sufficient monetary contributions, and an extensive vocabulary. With that, I say "Hello" finally (for this intro and for my official sign in).
