Hey guys my names Dave and I am from Waltham MA.

short and sweet. Love cars from the cl***ic 32 ford to the brand new stuff rolling off the dealer lots. The oldest car I owned was a 68 buick and a 73 Mustang and cars in between to newer Camaro's and Mustangs and my current ride a 2007 Grand Prix GXP V8 and FWD go figure.
BUT love Hot Rods! Like I said I love all cars. The detail and the craftmanship in them. Artist and painter by trade and photos are my hobby! Not much of a grease monkey, but have done my own work when I can. More into the detailing side of things and artistry of it.

I found this site last year trying to find out where the AlterBoys car show was and this forum popped up. I could not make it to the show but at least I could find out where the next one is along with the rest of the community.

Now why am I here? I am not trying to sell anything but I know that part of being on H.A.M.B. is spreading the word about this car hobby. I am the creator and co-founder of NeXuS: New England. What we are is basically here to promote and enjoy the motorsports community in New England. No matter if your driving a car, truck, or bike, bands and music and skin art "Tats" and of course the gals that sometimes grace the profiles of these fine rolling works of art. I love that. Thats why I started with this idea. I want to spread the word and also interact with all areas of this culture.
We are working on a website and will be up soon but we do have a facebook page:

Like I said were not selling anything just wanting to take some pictures of your cars interact with the people in the area and spread the word. I have taken some pics of some sweet old hot rods and rat rods at shows last year that I can post in the other sections.

We do have a show comming up in May on the 7th NeXuS is putting on. More info on that on our facebook page and will post here when it is final. But myself I would like to personally take pictures and post what might be of interest to you guys on here, what I find out there. So if I see you at a show I hope you say hi! Or if you come to one of our shows (please do)..it just makes the car culture and community that much stronger! Take care guys and thanks!!
    -Dave

Yikes man......your walking a few lines here with your last post............firstly most of the cars here are pre 64. Secondly this page is for personal intros about the people that are new to the board, not to promote anything else at all. Though the one thing you want to remember is to never use the term R*T R*D on this board. At first it may be weird concept to grasp but once you look around and get a feel for the culture you'll understand why its a bit of an insult.

    Thanks Total,
and edited it. The first guy to really open my eye to what he called r*t Rods, he called them so. But if its not good then I hear ya. He had a great old 40 something Dodge truck. So it kinda just sunk in that way. My bad. But I guess you learn something new.
And the second I just didnt want to come on here and post up and get ****. Better to let my intentions be heard and say hi and hope to see out there what I can not do. I love the pre 64 stuff. Maybe a little long in the intro and got a little bit over the top in what Iwas trying to say.
Basically what I wanted to say is..I love going to shows putting on shows and love the cars that come in. If I am welcome here I will post my wanderings in New England and pictures of cars in the pre 60's era..and hope that anything we do that some of these fine cars come out so we can take more pics. :D
    Thanks again Total Performance!
