My name is Allan. I've been a member for a few years now but never got around to making an intro.
Born in '61, I've been around cars and bikes most all of my life, although as a youngster I was raised around horses as my dad was a Forest Ranger. (supervisor of the Shoshoni National Forest, Clarks Fork Div.).
Started riding motorcycles at 8 yrs old. And early on got the hot rod bug. Have had several Mustangs (street and drag cars) and and a couple F100s, but my main interest is traditional style hot rods and 60's drag cars.
Have a wonderfull wife of 30 years and two sons 23 and 18. My oldest son kind of got me reintroduced to traditional cars as he got intersted in them and rockabilly music as a freshman in High School. He is also a friend of Bo Huffs and has been to many of his shows in East Carbon, Utah. He also has recently started a local rockabilly band with some school friends called the Rhythm Getters. Has opened for Wayne Hancock, Mad Max and the Wild Ones, James Hunnicut, The Koffin Kats and others. He has a 33 Ford pickup body and a couple 59 F100s as projects.
My younger son is not the motorhead like my other son, but still likes cars and music. He has plans of becoming an 3d animator and modeler and has been to Skills Usa Nationals in Kansas City after winning State in Denver in the 3D Visualisation Competition in 2010.
I am a good mechanic and so-so body man. The HAMB has really helped me get motivated to get back on to some of my projects. First one being, getting my wifes high school car back on the road, her 67 GT Fastback. There is a lot of great info on this site and I know I can gain valuable info and maybe contribute little. Thanks for reading.

Also, I don't know how I forgot this, but I have a 4 year old Grandson named Tristin. Rockabilly boy like his Daddy.

Welcome to the H.A.M.B. I'm a short timer but have been watching for quite a while.
