Hello all. It seems that this is quite an interesting group and right now I am looking for learn and do some research due to the fact that I recently acquired a whole lot of older project cars and parts. My younger brother was a body and paint man by trade but a collector of projects at heart. He recently passed away and my siblings and I were left with some great things but we just don't know much about all of them and what to do with them. I was hoping some of you can guide me a bit and give me some suggestions. We have a 1936 Chevy coupe that I actually bought in high school but my brother never did get to that project. He actually drove it into the garage nearly 50 years ago so I know it did run at one time..and the car is in decent shape but I was told its hard to get the wood parts and therefore not very valuable. I also have two 1937 pickups that he was going to fix up. They look a bit rough to me but he had purchased all the new metal for the bed in the back, new grill-although the old one didn't look that bad to me, and many parts for the truck. There is no engine or transmission. are these trucks of much interest to anyone? Also, there were some parts to a 1941 Willys pickup. It must have been used as a racecar because the hood had a hole cut out. There is a hood, front fenders, cab, and the doors only. I thought about Ebay but how do you ship car parts ? We also have a 1967 Pontiac Firebird convertible. It has the original engine but not running and is has damage on the passenger side. He had parts for some of it to repair but just never got to his own stuff all these years, sadly. There are many others but just wanted to give you an idea of what I am dealing with here. I hope someone can give me an idea where I could learn more about all of this so I can sell it to people who will enjoy these things.
Welcome from Oklahoma. Post pictures on the main board. You can also list on the classified ads and list them for "pick up only, no shipping".
Welcome. Seems like you know a bit about old cars and have a big job ahead. Look around here, check prices before you sell cheap, and enjoy the forum. And above all, get at least one of those projects on the road.
I wish I knew how! I admire the work you all do and appreciate the beauty. Just went to the local car show this weekend. Wow, it was amazing.
welcome to the forum ..... sounds like that you have a nice****ortment of project(s) there to keep you all busy for a bit =)

Today someone told me one that I thought was a Ford Model T might be a 1924 Packard. Go figure...That's why I am on here..to learn what the heck all this stuff is! Thanks.
