Hi - Long time H.A.M.B. reader here - thought it was about time to contribute. I'm a lifelong Washington St. native - grew up in Tacoma and have lived in Puyallup for many years. I was fortunate to be exposed to drag racing very early on via my older brother. He ran a modified fuel roadster in match races against the likes of Flamin' Frank Pedregon, Rich Rodgers, and Dale Hoffman's Heidelberg roadster. I have an extensive collection of pictures from drag strips in the northwest as a result, and countless memories of a golden era long gone. Current projects include my old '56 Delray C/Gas 'Mustard & Custard', my son's '55 chev HTP, and finishing my brother's '34 Dodge PU. Pics to follow
