I have a 31 Ford Truck with a suicide 4" drop front end. reversed Vega box, hair pins and bias ply tires. it works great until I hit bumps and then it tries to change lanes. I'm planning a 400 mile trip to Torque Fest this year, but I'm concerned about the steering system. Does anyone have suggestions on correcting this problem?
    Thanks,
    Roddin D

You should meet some people at the Detroit Autorama - there are many that come over from MI and perhaps you could ride or tag along with them?

  4. I always use a steering damper on I-beam front ends. You can get a VW unit or SoCal sells one.

If the axle geometry is wrong a damper won't help much.
