Been banging and burning metal for a while, got a nice shop here in Texas where I build stuff for myself and help my buddies build theirs.

I do a bit of cnc plasma cutting, chassis building, and some machine work. I have a full time job that pays my bills, and when I aint there, I am burning, grinding, swinging and cussing at cars.

I have a 52 Chevy business coupe I just got this last weekend, and found this site while looking for a few pics of different 50's coupes.
I am specifically looking for pictures of a 51 or 52 that has been chopped and sectioned. Got a link to one, toss it my way. I would appreciate it.

I also got a 51 Mercury coupe I am building, new roof, doors, frontend, upper and lower quarter panels, rear deck, etc. basically a ground up rebuild.

There are remnants of a 67 Chevy truck in my shop as well, maybe one day I will either crush it or build it.

Anyway, main thing is, I am here to learn a bit, BS a bit, and enjoy the fruits of other people's labor and drool over their cars a bit too.
I am an equal opportunity automotive enthusiast, as long as it aint stock or covered in vinyl stickers in some foreign language.

Welcome from Mesquite. Where bouts in this big ole state are you?

I just bought some new steel the other day and when I went into the warehouse, I had to take a deep breath of that metalic/electric smell in the air and loved it.

I live out in the boonies towards Caddo Mills, bout an hour from your area.

I may walk into my shop dazed and asleep in the mornings, but once I smell some 75/25, or the heavy electric odor from the plasma, or even a good lungful of freshly sanded CRS, I am awake and ready to go.

The smell of Bondo, however, makes me just want to go home.
