    Hello,
I've only been on the board for a few weeks, but wanted to introduce myself. My name is Jeff. I live in Northern CA. Over the years, my father and I have restored many vehicles of all makes and models. One of the people we have done a few cars for is my cousin. He's got a big ranch with lots of old cars and trucks. We've restored a few of them: '64 Mustang, '50 Ford Shoebox, Willy's Jeep...
My dad always wanted to restore the '34 pickup in the barn, but my cousin wouldn't let it go. Dad passed away in January, so I spoke to my cousin and asked about the truck. I told him it was just going to rot away in the barn since he wasn't going to do anything with it, and he should let me take it on. I finally got through to him, and he gave me the truck...I'm very pleased to have this "barn find" IMG_1719.jpg IMG_1720.jpg IMG_1721.jpg IMG_1726.jpg IMG_1728.jpg IMG_1731.jpg IMG_1737.jpg IMG_1738.jpg

A few more pictures of the stuff on the ranch...The wheels from the truck were used for the spreader in the first picture.

The owner purchased the truck new from the local dealership. It was used as a ranch truck for it's entire life. Engine was swapped to a newer flathead at some point. Interior was home to a family of mice for years. It has been sitting in the barn for over 40 years. It took my cousin weeks to uncover it from all the crap that was piled on top and around it. He filled the tires a week before we went to pick it up. We just pushed it out of the barn and winched it up onto the trailer. Wiring seems to be in pretty good shape. I also have the original '34 engine that came with the truck.

What would YOU do with it???
