Hi, I Have heard this site has a lot of similarly dedicated rod enthusisasts; figure it is time to get signed up. The Recent development was that I had to get honest and admit "the 29" which was supposedly my wifes( rita's) future project, was actually MY project. I was trying to convince her it was the car of her dreams!!! What a Scam. When I actaully asked her what was her ideal....turned out to be and an early T-bird. Well ladies and gentlemen , thus enters the latest addition to the stable ...a 1956 pea**** blue T-bird. If you cant keep the old-lady happy......OK so I'm PW'd So now I can get serious back on the 41PU and finish wiring the dash.It is sort of all hanging down in half wired state and I forgot where I was. But we did take her out for a spin, up and down Mountain View just to see if any mechanicals would break. no doors, bed or sheet metal. just cab, frame and machinery.Louge chair pads, cable-tied for comfort. ran up and down checking out brakes suspension etc with the wife along for good measure. Fortunately as we had just concluded and were backing down the driveway, the local police cruiser p***ed by slowly looking for the problem. and missed us. The huge cardboard boxes in the background in the living room are a pair of brookville doors and cab-back roadster parts for the 29 (which has finally been returned to the true owner). You have to step over the wide-5 juice brake parts and around the stack of wide whites on the way to the gargage. p***ed the 57 ford 9" and the dropped axle front-end....make a left between the two 40's pickup beds and continue on to the hottub. We had the 29 C-clampmed together , without cab back-half , but it collapsed in a heap to one side when we were jacking it over so we could shoot some minwax on the workshop ext walls. Itching to get it reclamped with the new sheet metal. Just to round out the picture and introduction, the whole 1923 home is laced with vintage dolls and toys, display cabinets, and the 8 cats and ***orted dogs make things very lively and interesting. Hope to contributeon on some of the twisted discussions as we do pride ourselfs similarly in debauchery and the macabre. Frankie (Rita)

no studes currently in the stable, although i have owned several including a 392 powered sunliner and an original 7E4D 4 x 4 289 transtar pickup. I wouldnt mind a stude motor in the 29 which is a ford roadster PU. I picked up thew handle stude3 during the 4 x 4 phase. Frankie
