Well, I kept getting a notice that I should come in and introduce myself. I have been scanning these forums for quite some time. I do not yet have a hot rod--but my fiance and I are getting close to being able to start a project! Just a little more saving to do and we are set. I am hoping to at least buy him (or help him buy... I'm sure he wont let me pay for the whole thing) the start of a project for Xmas.

With that said, you may see some posts from us coming soon once we get started!

Currently I have two motorcycles, and a 2004 Miata mazdaspeed edition. My hot rod itch has gone unscratched for too long. :D

We will be looking for a late 30's, 40's, or maybe 50's 2 door coupe. Whatever we come across that is a "good deal" and can come up with a vision for. We will be basically starting from scratch. We just hope to find something that still has solid floor boards :)

    Welcome from Oregon.

I think the Rolling Stones said it best..." you can't always get what you want, but if you try some time, you just might find, you get what you need."
I guess what I'm trying to say is keep your mind open to all possibilities and potentials. Sometimes the greatest gifts come in an unexpected package.
