would like to introduce myself.. my name is jeff Stang.. I was refereed, to this group by Mr Nathan Drake, a fellow Buick owner. I, myself own and in process of restoring a 1930 Buick 40 series that I purchased last June in Luddington ,Michigan, a true barn find, last titled in 1964! still has service record of a now defunt service station that changed the oil 2100 miles ago!!! I was a certified Technician of a service station, doing heavy automotive/ truck repairs and diagnose.. Im proud to say in 43 years I only had 3 automotive employers. my shop closed up when my boss retired.. I went to work for a home restoration, fire clean up business a former client.. until I suffered 3 strokes 3 years ago... I am married for 41 years , 2 boys 3 grand kids.. I also collect Lionel trains..
Welcome, Jeff! The H.A.M.B. is a great place and wealth of information, and I really do hope that someone here will help you find the parts you require. Just be aware, we are old school Hot Rodders, and not necessarily Restorationists...
I fully understand.. lot of guys remove the old restorable parts to install modern up grades for their rods... and have these left over parts.. figured they get rid of them and put a buck towards their project...
