for letting me lurk on here for a while. This is without a doubt the coolest web site around. My name is Chris and I am a middle aged guy that does not know a lot about traditional rods and customs except for the fact that I love em. I have a '53 Chevy Panel and my wife has a '35 Chevy Master Deluxe sport sedan that I try to keep going down the road. I will try to chime in when I can , keep the photos and verbage comeing!
Welcome from Kansas. Nice intro! Lots of old farts here. Hang around the Intro thread for a while, and you will meet lots of folks, and some amazing talent. Welcome to the H.A.M.B
Hey Chris, welcome from Tulsa. I had a '52 Chev panel for awhile that I dragged out of the bushes. I put a 235 in it and with the granny gear four speed it could go anywhere. We were crazy back then and would pile about 15 people in the back and head to the lake to party. We used to play our version of a "Chinese Firedrill" by putting it in granny gear and let the clutch out then everyone would have to jump out run around to a different door and climb back in while the truck was idleing along the beach at an ever increasing speed. Some kind of fun, huh. Welcome and good luck with your projects.
Welcome from Ga,Ck out the Panel forum on the HAMB.Always looking to look at more panels......................YG
Welcome from Union Pier, MI. Drove by the back side of 50 along time ago, but who really gives a rip.
Good point, and one of my 60's buddies told me if we get going fast enough, the clock runs backwards. Should have put a blower on my flathead, I guess.
