Hi . all , been on here for several years enjoying all the rides and comments from many points of view.Been working on cars since a kid in the '60s and finally in '96 built my first street rod, a '56 Dodge 1/2 ton and a teardrop trailer ( thus the name " tearjerker " ). I next took over 5 years to build a '47 Dodge 4 door like a Durango . I'm retired as of last August and have decided to do a complete rebuild on the '56 ; it's been a fun truck, daily driver for 7-8 years, drove it to Alaska and back , and one Ameracruise in 2000. I've gained a lot of knowledge from the builds you guys have shared on here and I thank you , vern

Greetings from Central Cali! Is Midnight at the Oasis still going on? My family's in the vegetable gig and I went down there a long time ago with my dad and we checked it out.

Yes Midnight is still the biggest happening here for cars; still the first week-end of March each year
