I just put in an order for a radiator from walker for my 28 on 32 rails with a 59AB. The guy on the other end said I want a 2” shorter radiator for a 28-29?? I thought I read on here that the 30-31 takes the 2” chop and a 28-29 takes a 3” chop????

They won’t start until Monday so I have a few days to get to the bottom of this and or change my mind if there is a better radiator choice out there.

I don’t have my body on the frame yet so I have no way to measure.

What is the correct height for the radiator?

    Thanks
    Chris

Where the rad mounts to your front crossmember is slightly higher on a '28-'29, than a '30-'31.
But not by a full inch.
Get the 3" chop and you can always raise it up on rubber mounts.

I agree - on mine I ended up somewhere between a 2 and 3 inch chop required. 3 inches should definately do it.
