help - 1940 Ford dash measurement?

I need an overall measurement (length) on a 1940 Ford dash. Can anyone get me the measurement end to end at the top where it flares up, or hell I'll take the bottom. I need these to compare with a 39 Merc dash.

The dash on my '40 Standard Tudor measures 42.5" at the top.

Thanks thats exactly what I needed, just as a point of interest - the 1939 Mercury although it looks the same the dash is 47.5". In my ignorance I didn't think the body was completely different.
