Does anybody have a solution to make the rear windows electric, instead of hydraulic on a convertible ??
Nu Relic makes a kit. Not just for the rears, either. The car in my avatar uses the same kit. http://www.nu-relics.com/
The window setup is the same as my 48 Olds 98 rag top. They used a hydraulic cylinder to raaise the window, and springs to pull it down after the switch opened a pintle valve in the cylinder. I bou electric linerer acctuators and used the original window lift pieces. My windows work super with this conversion. I had to habe a machine shop make adapters to go on the accuators to fit into the lift mechanism.
