Projects Help!! 1953 Rocker Trim install

    Ok, so I got a bit of rocker trim for my 1953 chevy, got the first piece put on and well, I have done something wrong... I think. The trim is not ****ing up next to the body and hiding the clips completely. I am sure this is something simple but honestly I know nothing about installing trim. Many Thanks in advance for any help :)

    Here are pictures of the clips and how it looks from far away and as you get closer.

    Do those tabs go in some holes ???

    Just one hole in the middle of the clip, and screws holding them to the body.

    What's the other side of the clip look like? almost seems like those two tabs should be bent or tightened up?
