Hot Rods Help-34 Chevy Master

i just finished boxing my frame, adding the Heigts cross member and set engine and tranny in.
I am now starting steering. This am I place the Heigts manual rack on the cross member. With all the adjustment out ( hole is oblong) the steering rod is extremely close.
1. Does anyone have picks of hows there’s started ?
2. Did the fire wall require reinforcements?
3. Does anybody have any steering “ progress pics” I could borrow or buy.
I have looked all over YouTube can’t find anything close.
