I've got a completely rebuilt '40 Ford rearend ***y. New brakes, drums, bearings, ring and pinion, transverse spring (reverse eye). Can I install this in a '38 Deluxe coupe (stock rearend and suspension) by just unbolting the origional and subs***uting the '40 ***embly. I'm changing from mechanical to hydraulic brakes (the front brake ***ys and spindles coming from the same restored '40) and installing a '39 pedal ***y and master cylinder. Any problems?

Both should have a 70" torque tube, and I believe the width is the same as well. Should work without any snags.
