Change of plans , the motor is here , were gonna slam it in Saturday morning the 1st ,early and try to get it to the show by noon , if we are not done in time we are all going to cruise to the park together , hang out for a while and then back to the shop to finish .

Nick, I know you and your boys will be busy in the morning setting up , but if we go overtime maybe you can come bye to finish it .

Marc paid the 400 bucks for the motor this morning and droped it off , so if any of you do gooders that have been trying to give me $ still want to pitch in a few bucks to help out with this , now's the time .

Cool , I am hoping that a buch of people will bring their old cars early to help out and then we can all drive over to the park in a big group .

Good to hear you will make it , after the let down on sunday night , we were all kind of bummed out , Dusty showed up at the shop again today , and I could tell he was still in a slump , we didn't tell him the motor was showing up today , I asked him to help the guys unload a motor that was coming in , you should have seen the look on his face when it rolled up in the truck , and he figured out it was for his car .

He drove his car in low gear all the way to a meating at lunch , and spent the rest of the day painting and getting the motor cleaned up and ready to go in , he wanted to do it tonight .

I almost considered it , but I have to DJ tonight downtown at the RED .

Ill be there in the morning. Im going to be bringing my truck down from Sac. I need to brake in the new motor and test out that Air suspension. So i hope that all goes well. thanks to all of the donations we are right about half way to paying for the motor.

Today was Dusty's birthday , he was very low key about it , and we didn't make a big deal out of it , but I think I will bring a cake Saturday and make everyone sing , just to embarrass him.

He painted the motor Pontiac blue , with black acessories .

I hope we get a change in the weather for Sat. it is supposed to rain , hope the Cruise isn't rained out.

We will be working at 8 either way , I will bring a coffee machine if you guys need it .

Oh and Tim , I'm no saint , but I am an ordained Minister , so if you and Blackflag want to get married , I can hook you up , which is still not legal in the state of California , even if you're a sheep herder.

To become a Saint You have to perform 3 miracles , lets see how I am doin so far;

Miracle #1 finally getting a clean driving record , so that I could get AAA car insurance , and convince my mom I am not a loser kid any more.

Miracle #2 finding a hot girlfriend that has no problem with me having 6 old cars and a 4 car garage full of crap , she just wants to know why I haven't got an old Indian , or Harley bobber yet.

and with any luck and some help from some friends ,

Miracle #3 the resurection of Dirty Dusty's 54 Poncho , in some sort of safe , close to legal form , so he can drive around and spread peace and goodwill to all.
