I have posted avatars on forums in the past, but lately when I try I get the message "POST request from foreign host are not allowed". I'm begining to think there may be a setting on my computer that's keeping me from attaching. Pictures are correct size for the requirements and I'm using the "BROWSE" function to get the picture from my "C" drive. Any Help?
Well lets see here... You're logged in, and your post flew, so you are registered right. Are you trying to load an avatar that is not on your own computer? The other thought I had was go to Windows Update and get updated ASAFP. You might be getting screwed around with by an outside source... Lastly - run your computers maintenance programs. It could be fragmented and just plain confused, to put it in laymans terms.
Thanks Greywolf - The avatar is on my "C" drive and of proper size. I do updates on a regular basis. With the price I pay for spyware and virus protection, outside source shouldn't be a problem. I haven't defraged in a while so I'll try that this afternoon after I put in a few hours of writting. Too bad an old man has to work just so he can have money to play with his toys. By the way, we moved here from Memphis about 14 years ago. Kind of miss the place at times. We lived in Frayser, still got a tee shirt that has a 64 Chevy truck on it ans says; Frayser, TN.
