Does anyone know how to remove or clean the dark tarnish from carbs after soaking them carb cleaner? I left some carbs soaking and they came out clean but now they have a dark tarnish finish. I then rubbed some of it with Never-Dull polisher... and some of the nicer metal finish came back out but it's going to be a Bit!@ to clean this thing using this method.

Any one have any secrete methode of removing tarnish off metal?

I even tried using the old siler cleaning trick, warm water, aluminum foil and baking soda... with no luck.

Oh, one more question: is there still a HAMB forum for motocycles? I remember there was a tech thread there on cleaning carbs.

    Thanks
