HELP!! compressor motor woes...

    Does your meter have the capability to check in rush?i know you checked all your connections but what about the incoming power to your house?where it lands on top of your panel?those connections are always hot and often overlooked by electricians do to that.a loose connection there could cause low voltage on start up even when the belt is off the motor.check your voltage drop on start up as well,if the voltage drops off too much it may be causeing the start run capacitors to not work properly.i know im reaching far but its another idea anyhow....

    The motor nameplate may have 2 wiring diagrams on it. One for 120 volt running and another for 240 volt running. Are you sure the wires are connected accordingly both internal and external?
