F100 has a dip in the middle, F1 is flat...but shouldn't Ford truck spindles have the steering arm wrap up around from the rear?
    Are you sure thats Ford???

I've got some F-1 spindles and brakes that I can look at this afternoon and compare. However, by then there will have been 15 answers that will give you a definitive answer. H.A.M.B. rules, doesn't it?

The axle has no dip...so if its a 50's ford its an F1. I don't think it is Ford at all.
Heres a pic of the same side Ford F1 spindle/axle.
Note the backing plate and also the steering arm. Also the shock bolt hole location and the curve of the axle out beside the kingpin boss.
    Everything looks totally different.
