Folks Of Interest Help Find Gene Winfield’s Lifetime Collection - So Much Is Missing - Mostly California

Scalpers twekers don't care about history it's not right thatnthis had to happen it makes you think are there any honest car people at all i will keep a look out for items it's a shame it happen in would have loved to have seen a Gane Winfield display at the NHRA museum

 

I think it might be hard to walk up to someone who has a bit of Winfield equipment and demand to see a legitimate sales receipt.

 

One problem as far as security is that Gene's shop/property was way out by it's self with very little around it except a couple of houses on the road that runs down the side of it. Not ideal for security when there were no longer people living on the property.

Genes property was a virtual sitting duck, to be plundered!
Such a shame.

 

I met Gene at the Rebel Run back in the early 2000's.He was such nice man,always willing to help & share his knowledge of customizing. Its so sad even after Gene's passing all this drama .
