The bolt in the attached pictures secures the lower inner shaft to the frame. There are 4 bolts per side and a couple were damaged (bent and majorly flattened threads) while removing the lower control arm. I've searched and I believe it is a T-Bolt, or T-slot Bolt. I have not been able to find any that I would trust enough to hold my suspension together. Any help would be appreciated.
Try looking here: http://www.mcmaster.com. It's like the world's largest hardware store, and they ship quickly.
That's not a t slot bolt. T slot bolts are made so they will not rotate in the t slots of a machine tool table, and the head is substantially different from the head in your pic. Looks like a simple job to modify the width of the head of a standard grade 8 bolt, or if you want to make one that looks more like the original, you could start with heavy hex head A193 grade B7 structural bolts, turn the head round, and then cut the flats. For just 4 bolts, either could be done easily enough with just a grinder.
Have you tried your local Chrysler dealer? I am not kidding. If they can't help you what about Andy Bernbaum?
That shoulder on that bolt is "close tolerance", and you should mic it for the O.D. before ya' go bolt shopping. But yes, it can be made from a close tolerance bolt. Choose a grade 8 if it will make ya' feel better.
