Help?flatty or banger for my 28A ??

    I used 1/4" X 1-1/2" flat stock with a bunch of lightening holes and welded them to the seams on the stock wishbones about 6 years ago and have had no problems to date. I'm running a B motor with all of the goodies including an original CRAGAR head. The T-5 is great and combined with the converted F-100 steering box makes this a great driver.

    Cool man,... I agree it is a hard call in relation to the type of car you are building. If you've done it before you know what you are getting into, alot of guys don't.

    I used to work on stock and mostly stock A's ( stock trans though ) for a time for the local A club members and the amount of old timers that complained that they didn't remember them being THIS slow once the cars were up and running was amusing to me. Just into the power of those new fangled OHVs I guess.:D
