As you may know by now the unthinkable thing happened to our pal xderelict (Dick Warsocki) of Omaha, Nebraska last Saturday as he headed to the Greaserama Show in Missouri in his kustom 54 Chevy Belair he has spent many years modifying and customizing.
It burned to the ground and is not repairable.

The car was not insured (liability only) and even though Dick is not asking for help I want to help him replace it so he has a driver to go to events in.

Dick is a proud American and Marine and a great family man and has spent this year caring for his sweetheart of a wife (Tess) who has a brain tumor.
He lives on a fixed income in retirement.

Other people are helping him too including his car club members (South Omaha Turds).

On behalf of this cause I am offering t shirts for sale with the newly created logo by my friend Gern Blanston which features the lost kustom and Dick has approved the design himself.

They are $20 shipped and all profits go to him.
You are also welcome to donate more.

Payment by paypal goes to me at gopf@reagan.com

or you can mail it in any form to
    Paul Kruse
    Box 37
    Gypsum, KS
    67448

Dick will receive all monies after the shirts and shipping are paid.
Order any size you want and we will get them made.

    Thank you in advance !

That's a shame, that was a nice looking car. Any word on what the cause of the fire was?

    I'm in for a shirt.

  5. Money sent...good luck

Oh my gosh, my friend Dick is a brother from a different mother. You might say we are both Dicks, but proud of it. You tell him the Dickster came through once and will gladly do it again. When you get to the induction stage of his new ride, let me know and we can make it happen. Also, I'm in for a t shirt. God bless you Dick, and don't worry, you have a whole family here to assist you through all this.

I'm humbled by every ones generosity. The car went up so fast there was nothing we could do. I'm planning on building a 34 Chevy 5 window. It's rough but low buck to get in. I have a 56 265 under the bench and more parts between Rob Lee and the other SOT's.

Money sent via PayPal, and Paul, I've already got too many shirts, so give it all to Dick.

HAMBer's, if you don't follow Paul (PovertyFlats) on Facebook, you probably don't know about all of the charitable stuff he's done for deserving folks. It'd be a better world if there were more like him.
