Every now and then I post some up coming events in Oklahoma. It’s every now and then because not much goes on for awhile but when it rains it pours.

4/23 (tonight) - Poison Okies at VZD’s in OKC
4/24-25 - Tulsa Swap Meet, Creek Co. Fairgrounds
5/1-2 - Stray Kat 500, Dewy, OK (but everybody already knew that)
5/1 - Tinker Credit Union Car Show, OKC (if you can’t make Dewy)
5/7-8 - Spring Chickasaw Swap Meet, Chickasaw, OK
5/12-16 - Jesco P. White the Tap Dancin’ Outlaw, Looney Bin, OKC
5/23 - Three Bad Jacks, 66 Bowl, OKC

If I remember right there is the last rattlesnake roundup of the year this weekend, but I can't remember if it in Mangum or not. Any help here?

the Poison Okies are playing Deadtown in Tulsa (that’s “a slut” spelled backwards, btw) sometime soon but Brian didn’t have the date on him when I talked to him this morning.
If anybodies got anything else let me know.

I'm pretty sure Mangum rattlesnake round up starts tonight with a rod/car show then goes till sunday.

I think they do, I heard it was more Psycho-billy than their last, but have not heard it yet to be able to say.

this year is their 4th year. Suzie, the wife of a friend of mine has been putting it on as a fund raiser for the Children's Miracle Network. She's had it one year longer than the Stray Kat so she doesn’t want to move the date. I may try to make both, her's early then head out late in the morning for the 500. TFCU's Children's Miracle Network Carshow

thanks for the update. I've always wanted to get a bunch and hit one of the round up's. We started a few years back going to the noodling festival in Paul’s Valley and for us it’s turned into a pretty fun annual cruse.
