Help! How do I tell if my Chevy 1 1/2 is a 34 or 35? hood looks same

    Hi,
    I found a Chevy Truck in a backyard near me. Owner p***ed away, kids sold it to me. But I don't know exactly what year it is. I listed it on Ebay as a 37, but after a message from someone, I realized the fins on the hood are like a 34 or 35. I cant find anything on the firewall except weight limits. There may be a plate on the engine (which turns over, by the way), but it is covered with dirt and grease and I cant see any numbers.
    Is there a way to tell? I am sending pics. I hate to list it incorrectly.....

    I'm leaning towards a '35, definitely not a '37 as you already know. Hopefully some of the Chevy pros will weigh in, as there were very slight changes in those years, and there were even some differences within those years. Looks like it'll be a good buy for somebody if the bidding stays that low.
