    I wonder if they might be old inboard spark arrestor air cleaners from a boat?

    I once had a pair quite similar to them that were sold by Badger.

    Heathen I think you are correct!! I just googled badger aircleaner and speedway had one for sale NOS. Looks like the same aircleaner. Google, who'd a thunk. :D Thanks, Lippy

    I almost bought a pair of them in Charlotte once. But they were 2bbls like the OP This is the only other set I've seen for 2bls. They were to expensive to cut up. The ones in my pic are the ones that I remember. Made especially for the Corvette 270 set up. I stole this pic of the 4bl. variety.

    I have no idea why they made a flat sided pair for dual 2bls. I can tell you they are rare!
