This column and wheel are grafted onto my 35 Ford. I have not identified the steering box yet but I would like to ID the column and wheel.

The main shaft is threaded for a nut to hold the wheel on and it is an odd size nut. (missing) The column has a channel built into it for wires .. turn signals? Here are pictures of the column ....

  6. The wheel looks like a Willys Overland to me. Is it splined or taperd and keyed?

I'm guessing (yes, guessing) it's from the 60s to early 70s.

No numbers on it if you look close? I think I see something on the back of the TS housing.

    It ain't GM

    It is splined.

The numbers on the back are:

    CB481
DCP -------> Dodge Chrysler Plymouth ?!?!?

A lot of parts on this truck are from a 55 Plymouth and I think I read where the seat looked Jeep so the column could be Jeep Overland.

  10. I thought "CB" was the start of a Ford part number.

Cx is the start of a ford part number from the 1960s, if x is a number from 0 to 9

Jeep wasn't part of chrysler till the 80s, right?
