Look in the Detroit BIlletproof pictures post from Monday, there's a couple pics of it there, might be some info. on it..
Rusty, Give me your other options and I'll help you make a decision. Of course you could just get a '64-'66 and build it that sweet, then if you don't like it sell for more than you will ever need to build your next one.
I was stuck between a 65 Chevy and a couple mid 60s Fords that I've looked at until I saw that one. I also really like Dixiedog's 61 he posted pics of recently. Very nice.
I think for a '60s model truck the '65/66 Chevy/GMC is the only way to go. Exceptional lines. I don't care for the stepbeds though unless you're building a mudder. Guess that makes me opinionated.
imho, the front gl*** & a-pillars on a 60-63 are much better looking than a 64-66. the 60-62 hood is a little funky, but the later hood is a bolt-on.
This is the only shot I have of it. A friend of mine has a 66(?) he wants to sell. Longbox, V8, stick, pretty solid, $2500.
That truck belongs to and was built by my buddy Roger from Detroit. He's Hodgiemoto (sp?) on the HAMB. It's powered by a healthy 396.
