Help! I think I'm sick of this project!

KustomKarma, I know how you feel. I love acquiring a new project, and mechanically building it. Then I start to lose interest, even though I park them for awhile it still isn't the same. I am just finishing the body on my 53 chev and I have no desire to drive it. I keep looking at my 50 stude project and I'd rather work on it but I know in time I will fee the same way about it. I guess the novelty just wears off once they reach a certain level. I love taking a car that others say will never see the road and proving them wrong. I did a 73 Formula the same way, lost interest, friends and neighbours love it and think I'm nuts for not making use of it. I may never get my money out of them but I did enjoy the hunt and putting it together. Keeps me out of the bar and that keeps my wife happy. Good luck in finding what works for you. Cheers

 

Finish it....You are this far into it. Once you take that first drive in it, you may change your mind.

 

Get it on the road, people will remind you why you love that car with all the "thumbs up".

 

If you aren't far from done... **** it up and finish it. You will always get closer to what you put into it if it's a running driving car that they can drive home.
