I am being mentored on my first build ('30 Model A Coupe) by an 83 yr. old friend. Last night he was giving me the tour of his bone yard and said he had no idea what this car was. I thought someone here might be able to help ID it. Any help would be appreciated! TIA
Wills-Sainte-Claire had fenders like that. Also big smooth side panels with no visible seams. Just can,t find a decent photo from the rear. Anyhow, with the fenders not closing up against the body it sure is a oldie. btw, it,s obvious the roof has been cut off. Were,nt those big Coupes actually called a Brougham in the early 1900s. ? This is a younger Wills Sainte Claire. The older models had more similarities with the rust bucket.
The last pic shows a fender relief. These fenders are mounted on standoffs, not original to the body. An opera coupe would explain the long rear window and short deck lid. A folding bucket seat in the front, and room for 3 in the back. Not suggesting it is a Nash, but here is a 23 Nash Victoria (aka opera coupe)
