Can anyone help identify my brake pedal / master cylinder mount? Don't want to give up on it as it is a great fit on the frame of the coupe.

I am in the process of re-building my Brake pedal/master cylinder mount for my A coupe. Should be a simple process, the guy I got the ***embly from said it was off a Ford pick-up .

Well looks like it is off something else. Ford, but not pick-up. If I knew what is was off it would make sourcing parts SOOooo much simpler .

(End of pivot pin sticking up)

The mount is coded " 21C 2467 ", The pedal is coded " 7RT 2453 "(47 large truck ??). The pivot bushing is .940" OD, .875" ID and 1.835" long. The pivot pin is .870 OD and has a machined head on one end, the other end threaded for a zirk fitting.

If anyone knows what vehicle it is off and maybe who would stock bushings and maybe even a new pivot pin replacment, it would be a great help.

    Thanks guys.

  2. 21C prefix denotes a part first used on '42 Ford pickup, this part would be the same '42-'47. I can't remember what 7RT is--not '47 big truck since there's no real difference other than age between a '47 big truck and a '42.

Thanks guys, -- source of pedals has been identified along with Ford part numbers and interchange for bushings and pivot pin. Should be easy to source replacement parts for a re-build now. :)
