Help ID car in photo

Found this in a old family photo album. If I remember correctly I was told that this was my parents first car after they were married. I did do some searching but couldn't find an exact match for the grill. Plymouth's were the closest.

 

It's a 1941 Chevy.

 

Pontiac, 39-42ish?

1941 Chevrolet.
1940 had a different bumper and 42 was a different front end.

 

It was ugly and black and the called it a Mack,but it looked like a Chevy to me.

The titles to these say '41 Chevrolet. What do you think?
