Hot Rods Help ID - Hand Pressure Pump Knob

    Trying to identify the knob on the hand pressure pump in the 1954 photo below. Looks like a door knob with a crown embossed in center.

    Given that the oil pressure gauge is about 2¼ inches, and the knob is smaller, its unlikely to be a doorknob. I think the embossed figure is of an eagle. I'm guessing that the knob is br***, but it could be Bakelite.

    I looked at an older Anheuser Busch logo and I think this is close but admittedly the photo above is pretty out of focus.

    Bell, Eelco, and that isn’t their logos.
