help ID these backing plates

    these came on the frame that came with my coupe and I have no clue what they are any help

    They look like Ford to me.......the ones on the rear are mounted upside down.......brake line/wheel cylinder should be at the top......

    The rears need to be mounted upside down for clearance. Old trick. Yes ,They are valuable. The drums even more than the backers. Hope the drums are great!

    The 4 holes on the backing plates were oblinged to fit onto the Model A rear axle and spindles, so the value of them is going to be less than others you'll see listed. But don't throw them out. Just be sure to let your buyer know that they were mounted on a Model A.
