Technical Help ID this coupe

Can't figure this one out. Drip rail line goes under rear window.... Any ideas? Thanks!!

Drip rail stops. That's just the seam you are seeing going under the rear window.

Is that single stage? acrylic enamel or urethane?

 

Yes acrylic enamel with a gloss hardener.
Holding up very well after 12 yrs.

 

Is it yours yet? Looks like an old Hotrod...and in decent shape...

 

Not mine yet. I can't believe it's a Ford. I was thinking 1936, so I looked at all GM's, Mopars, Nash, Hupmobile and more. Thanks....I was off by a year....OY!

 

I see no provision for tailights were they optional in 37/38? What's the story that you've heard...hope you get it...

 

@Stogy standard only had 1 taillight.

 

Looks like someone did the M II treatment to it.

 

Looks like it has auto ventilation also . . .

 

Good eye...I see that...easier to put back to the good ole days I think if one cares to do so...
