Looks like to me an early 40's Dodge?

Judging by the wheels, I would say 40's Buick.

    I'm thinking 42- 47 Pontiac or Olds .

I say it's a 1942-48 Buick special. The roadmashers had fadeaway front fenders while the cheapie buick had pods like the faded paint suggests on the door. Another dead give away is the wheels. Only Buick used this style wheel and while it's got a common 5 on 5 bolt pattern, the center hole is bigger than Pontiac and Olds...means no pontiac/olds wheel would fit this car...
    Check the photo..it's a 1948 Buick photo
Look close....the top-mounted buick anntenne is still mounted on the old stock car too.

Mr. Rockey was correct on the ID of this BUICK. It could have come from the factory with 320 cubic inch and 2 large 2 barrell carbs.. Looks like he lost 400 or so lbs from the body.. These long wheel base cars with high torque engines worked well on 1/2 mile dirt tracks. note the tires with slick centers and agressive side grips. More than likely a very soft recap. The factory rating was 165 hp and buick has always used under rated numbers.. This engine stock put out as much stock HP as a much modified flathead ford. Bobby..
